Making lunches is one of the greatest struggles of raising healthy kids – it’s a balancing act between getting out the door in time every morning, putting healthy option in, and finding things that the kids really want to eat. That’s why it’s a great idea to try putting together “build you own” lunches. This simple solution actually saves time on your end, and kids will get to “play with their food” meaning they’ll be more excited and involved in the process of eating their lunch. All you have to do is NOT make the lunch! Put all the ingredients, and let the kids put them together.

There are so many possibilities with this idea, from pizzas, to PB&Js, to kebobs. Here’s a few things we found that might get your creative juices flowing!
